About the Owners

Margarita Raupe and her husband started Chu-mikal's in 1989. Having worked in the food business for decades, starting their own restaurant was the realization of a lifelong dream. Margarita is happiest when people are enjoying her food. She prides herself on the quality of her cooking and the service that she and her staff provide.

Eastside Dining

Located in East Austin on 7th Street, Chu-mikal's Cafe caters to long-time residents as well as residents new to the area's growing condominium district.

Catering

Chu-mikal's is family-owned and has provided catering all over Austin since 1989. Catering orders can be customized to meet your needs. We cater events such as Weddings, Parties, Meetings and Reunions.
